Regional Account Manager (US Central and East: Chicago / Houston/ Dallas / Denver/ New York) Please specify which location you are applying for.
As an ATS Regional Account Manager, you will:
- Report to the National Account manager, utilizing market data to establish a focused plan to develop your market.
- Establish long term relationships with our key Engineers and Architects; identifying new project opportunities in the territory.
- Serve as a consultant or member of the design team to all ATS clients in providing division specific specifications and product advice.
- Present and promote our company’s services to industry professionals including mechanical designers, architects and interior designers.
- Host seminars and one-on-one meetings at these design offices to introduce, train or update on our company’s free tools and services.
- Liaise with manufacturer’s factory representatives to generate plumbing and architectural specification packages.
- Build and maintain rapport with key clients; identifying new opportunities.
- Work with multi-faceted teams to provide the most up to date product information to industry professionals.
- Use Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) for reporting, maintaining and expanding customer base.
- Detail activities, progress, market information, new ideas, expenses and other relevant data as appropriate or as requested.
As an ATS Regional Account Manager, you must have:
- A college degree and/or experience in related field.
- A good understanding of construction industry practices, products and standards, with a focus on plumbing and/or HVAC products.
- The ability to interpret construction documents and specifications with knowledge of local Building Codes and Americans with Disabilities Act is considered an asset.
- An outgoing personality with exceptional communication skills, both written, verbal, online and in-person presentation skills.
- An outstanding work ethic and organization.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position within construction or building materials is considered an asset.
- Flair for polished presentations; Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft & Google products.
- Experience utilizing HubSpot Sales and Marketing tools is considered an Asset.
- Formal sales training is considered an asset.
- The availability to travel and/or be located within the territory or region is required
