A rapidly growing, well established mechanical & automation control contracting company is seeking an expert HVAC/MEP Estimator. This person must review all types of solicitations, analyze blueprints/design documents, identify required scopes of work, communicate with clients, subcontractors and vendors, compile cost estimates and documentation necessary to develop narratives, proposed execution plans, schedules of values, submit proposals and win new contracts for ECS.
The position requires:
· Minimum 3 years estimating experience in the HVAC industry.
· Must manage and perform estimating of projects within our two major markets, southeast Michigan and southeast Florida. Priority location and home base will be Taylor, MI.
· Fluent estimating and documenting knowledge of the following work classifications:
- All types of mechanical HVAC Systems and applications
- Air distribution systems
- Piping systems
- Value engineering and alternative solutions
· Must be prepared to learn new classifications: a) BAS Estimating, b) Basic Electrical Estimating and c) Other Classifications
· Must be prepared to implement latest estimating software and techniques as necessary
· Must be self motivated
Qualifications:
· Highly dependable and motivated.
· Able to multitask
· Well organized and structured
· Experience working with HVAC systems
· Must be willing to learn and advance
· Valid driver license and clean driving record
