Perricone Juices is a citrus juice supplier located in Vero Beach, Florida. We are looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team!

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall proper functioning of production machinery and facility equipment. The technician will engage in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
Schedule:
This position assists in balancing work and personal responsibilities with an Alternative Work Schedule (ATW). The schedule would include working three to four 12-hour shifts per week (7 PM to 7 AM) and off every other weekend.
- Holiday work may be required based on production needs.
PRODUCTION MACHINERY
- Repairs, replaces, troubleshoots calibrates and maintains production equipment e.g., conveyor bearings, belts and chains, motor/gearbox replacement, valve, and pump maintenance
- Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, belts, pump seals and wiring
- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed
- Inspects and maintain boiler
- Diagnose and repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical components
- Wire high voltage motors and low voltage controls
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
- Operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems
- Understand and ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed daily
- Follow and enforces company safety policies and procedures
- Ensure that all SQF, Organic and Non-GMO procedures are followed, no cross contamination
FACILITY
- General building maintenance including on-going repairs of facilities. Some of those responsibilities may include but are not limited to repairing doors, locks, windows, lights, office furniture and plumbing
- Ensures that the plant is audit ready daily with regards to maintenance of equipment and general facility appearance
DRUG FREE WORKPLACE
Requirements:
- Arrives on time to review duties for the day
- 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance and facility repair
- Basic electromechanical understanding and have the ability to read drawings, cut, grind, layout, fit up, weld, and install
- Knowledge of PLC Programmable Logic Control troubleshooting and programming preferred
- Follow both written and oral instructions
- Works well independently and with a team
- Able to withstand cold and non-climate-controlled environment
- Successfully pass pre-employment screenings including a drug screen
