Enovative Mechanical & Energy Services is a full-service mechanical contracting company that specializes in Refrigeration/Commercial HVACR maintenance/service/repairs, multifamily hot water service, and building energy retrofit projects. We are currently hiring Chiller Mechanic HVACR Technician.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician at the journeyman level to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mid to high-level expertise in HVAC systems, with a strong focus on chiller systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a full service mechanical contractor focusing on commercial, industrial and institutional customers where you will play a critical role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various HVAC systems.

Chiller Mechanic HVACR Technician duties and responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various HVAC systems, with a focus on large-scale chiller systems.
- Install, maintain, and service HVAC equipment in commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to effectively complete work orders.
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Provide recommendations for equipment replacements, upgrades, and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, and installations through detailed reports.
- Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship or guidance to junior technicians when needed.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service calls.
Technical skills and qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License
- 3+ years chiller service experience
- 5+ years general HVAC experience
About you:
- Journeyman-level HVAC technician with 5+ years experience
- 3+ years hands-on chiller experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
- Experience with Hydronic/steam boilers
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, electrical systems, and refrigeration cycles.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues efficiently and come up with effective solutions.
- Experience with VRF/VRV, desired
- Experience with package units above 20 tons, desired
- Capable of reading technical documents and ensuring accuracy in installations and repairs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various environmental conditions, and handle the physical demands of the job.
