Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of various commercial HVAC and restaurant equipment. This role involves working independently or as part of a team to ensure that our mechanical systems are operating at peak performance, delivering optimal comfort and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Working area: Mainly Downtown Los Angeles with occasional repairs in Sherman Oaks, and Malibu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to perform HVAC tasks according to industry standards.
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial settings, including diagnosing malfunctions, troubleshooting issues, replacing parts, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Improving HVAC system performance by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling refrigerants
- Install, maintain, and repair different types of refrigeration systems, such as a refrigerator, ice machine, beverage dispenser, or refrigerated storage units.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service, maintenance, and repair.
- Must have experience with: Gas heaters, Package units, Low Voltage, A/C Compressors, Indoor/Outdoor Motors, Capacitors, Relays, Pump Downs, Refrigeration equipment etc.
- Having your own hand tools/power tools/basic HVAC equipment is a plus but not a requirement.
- Clean DMV and Valid Driver’s License. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work in various indoor/outdoor environments.
Salary based on experience/knowledge. $30-$35 Dollars per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week and the ability to work overtime and occasional weekend jobs when necessary.
