Parker and Sons in Phoenix, AZ is in search of a highly qualified Generator Technician to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation of electrical systems, gas systems and preventative maintenance on generators
- Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
- Installs gas piping and pressure regulators
- Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators and clean energy products
- Part of a team of 2-4 individuals, potential to have an apprentice working under you
- Provide demonstrations of generator operation and power outage simulations with customers
- Activate, start-up, and load test a generator system upon completion of installation
- Perform pre-installation site visits to plan installation
- Order job materials, manage truck inventory and record usage of materials
- Collect payments and complete final invoices for homeowners
- Provide a high level of customer satisfaction
- Journeyman license as an Electrician
Requirements:
- 5+ years of electrical experience, residential and commercial preferred
- Ability to meet work deadlines independently and with a team
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Knowledge of gaseous fuel systems
- Generac Certification preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently
- Small engine repairs
- Electrical knowledge & experience which complies with the requirements of the AHJ
- Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and have a clean driving record
