Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and heating systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all HVAC-related tasks are completed efficiently.
- Build and plumb new HVAC installations according to design specifications.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements based on performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on each job.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while working on-site.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various HVAC equipment.
- Ability to build and plumb installations effectively.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
