Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in HVAC systems, particularly with ammonia refrigeration. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Duties
- Install and maintain refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using tools such as Ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Perform welding and plumbing tasks as needed for system installation and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of refrigeration units to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop efficient refrigeration solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service work performed and parts used.
- Provide exceptional customer service while working on-site at various locations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician in the HVAC or refrigeration field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including Ohmmeters.
- Ability to weld and perform plumbing tasks related to refrigeration systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
