Maleko Personnel is currently seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Candidates will be expected to pass a drug screening, a light physical exam and background check.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot control systems and wiring for HVAC equipment including thermostats, sensors, relays, contactors, switches, and other electrical components
- Read and interpret blueprints / technical manuals
- Inspect and test control wiring to ensure proper connection
- Program, calibrate and fine-tune systems to optimize performance
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot wiring problems, diagnosing electrical systems
- Adhere to all codes and regulations
- Follow all safety procedures and stay up to date on industry advancements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or completion of an HVAC program
- Proven experience as an HVAC control wiring technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles and wiring techniques in HVAC control systems
- Familiar with electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
