Blue Ribbon Cooling and Heating is currently seeking a HVAC Service Technician to join our team who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. As a Blue Ribbon Cooling and Heating Service Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing all aspects of the HVAC system, giving customers options and pricing repairs, order parts for install purposes, and collect payment upon completion while ensuring quality work is completed to all local and national codes. This will be done while maintaining a professional manner, consistent with Blue Ribbon Cooling and Heating’s image as a provider of high-quality top of line services.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Successfully perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers, and compressors
- Build client relationships by providing outstanding service through strong communication and customer service skills
- Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems through product overview
- Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records
- Complete all tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards
- Update job knowledge by being a life long student and participating in educational opportunities
Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
- Minimum of 2 years prior HVAC Service Technician experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a background and DMV check
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit or balance
- Moderate exposure to physical risk
- Work is performed in residential properties which may include attics, garages, crawl spaces and roof tops

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
