Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operations of our Amenity spaces and events, ensuring they provide an exceptional experience for employees and guests. This role will manage vendor and contractor relationships, supervise a team of direct reports, and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and enhance the use of our Amenity spaces across the Comcast Corporate Campus is downtown Philadelphia. This role is onsite and not hybrid.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our fast-paced Amenity spaces, including a two-story indoor amphitheater, food service areas, conference and meeting rooms, fitness and wellness centers, NBC10/Telemundo 62 studios, and other shared areas
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure spaces are well-maintained, safe, and aligned with company standards
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure spaces meet the evolving needs of the organization
- Manage event logistics, including setup, teardown, and coordination of necessary resources for corporate and employee events
- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and event organizers, including external vendors and internal teams
- Oversee and manage the work order life cycle, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely resolution of maintenance and operational requests
- Oversee contracts with vendors and service providers for kitchen equipment, broadcasting studios, specialized structures and other facility needs
- Evaluate vendor performance ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and service level agreements
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
- Set goals and performance standards, conduct regular check-ins and reviews, and provide professional development training
- Ensure staffing levels and team capabilities align with operational needs
- Manage the budget for amenity operations and events, tracking expenses and cost control
- Manage and assign projects including coordination with space owners, contracted vendors, and other Comcast departments; managing all related expenses including requesting proposals, collecting, and cataloguing quotes, and submitting final invoices; effectively setting, communicating, and achieving timelines
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary
