Position Summary:
We are seeking a strong CAD Designer with solid experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit Software. This is a great opportunity for a drafting expert to build exceptional experience at a specialized and growing engineering design firm.
This position is based in the Dallas corporate headquarters of Mbroh Engineering Inc.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings that meet the specifications of our client
- Partner with the engineering team to ensure the accuracy of the drawings
- Assist with the project development using AutoCAD, Revit and other design tools
- Use expertise in design and analysis to ensure that the drawings are thorough and complete
- Communicate and exchange concepts and ideas with the technical and project management teams
- Build relationships with the client to review project details and requirements, where necessary
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineering and technical professionals
- Provide regular project updates to the engineering and project management team
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Must have expert knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience using MicroStation and Autodesk Revit Software a plus
- Familiar with creating Dynamic Families using Revit is a plus
- Experience managing a team of drafters on multiple projects
- Electrical design experience is a major plus
- Possess no less than 3 years of related drafting experience
- Experience using AGi32 is a plus
- Possess a positive and proactive approach to addressing challenges and working with team members
- Ability to build strong professional cross-functional relationships
- Honest, trustworthy and dependable
