We are searching for a full-time skilled, and detail-oriented Plumbing Technician to join our team. The Plumbing Technician is responsible for performing skilled plumbing work in the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform residential and light commercial service to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
- Identify potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns/callbacks.
- Inspect high-pressure, air, steam, water, and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.
- Perform cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Inspect and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, tests joints and pipe systems.
- Explain to customers each service performed each time a maintenance or repair is completed and ensures complete customer satisfaction.
- Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates and provide pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work.
- Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites.
- Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to customers.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management.
- Submit all complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Abide by all company standards of performance and code of ethics.
- Maintain a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED certificate and Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship.
- 1+ years of plumbing experience
- State plumbing license preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
- Skill knowledge includes, but is not limited to, water heater repair/change out, faucet installation, toilet repairs or replacement, shower valve change outs, leak repairs, slab leak repairs, fixture repairs, drop-in sink installations, shut off valve change-outs, and kitchen and bath disconnect and reconnects.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
- Good working knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment
- Working knowledge of state regulations and standards affecting plumbing work
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
- Familiar with plumbing tools and equipment
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
COMPENSATION
Excellent compensation for candidate meeting all required skills and experience.
Schedule: 40hrs a week minimum with flexible work schedules
Pay: $1,000 weekly or Commission if over the $1,000
Location: Tampa Bay and surrounding areas

Pay: $52,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
