Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure machinery operates smoothly
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics and logic controllers
- Utilize stick welding for repairs and fabrication work
- Operate scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks
- Use voltmeters to diagnose electrical problems
- Apply knowledge of low voltage systems in troubleshooting
- Provide field service support as needed
- Collaborate with the industrial mechanic team on complex repairs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in stick welding techniques for repairs and fabrication
- Familiarity with scissor lift operation for maintenance tasks at heights
- Ability to use voltmeters for electrical diagnostics
- Knowledge of industrial mechanics and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with low voltage systems in an industrial setting is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and logic controllers efficiently
