Proulx Oil & Propane is currently looking for a hard-working, mechanically inclined individual to join our team and who is currently enrolled in an HVAC program at an accredited school or recently graduated. This position offers a rewarding, well-paying, stable career path for someone already studying in the HVAC field.
We have been proudly serving homeowners and businesses in New Hampshire, Maine & Massachusetts for 80 years! We not only deliver oil and propane, but we sell, install and service furnaces, boilers, water heaters, decorative fireplace log set inserts, & propane burning hearth stoves
We are currently looking for a Propane & Oil Service Apprentice to join our team, someone looking to grow their career in the propane and oil service industry. This is an entry-level position with career growth opportunities. The goal at Proulx is to develop quality technicians who see propane and oil service as a long-term career. The right candidate will be eager to work and have the willingness to learn.
POSITION SUMMARY: To install and service residential and light commercial customers; oil, propane and air conditioning/heating systems to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be currently enrolled in an HVAC program at an accredited school or recently graduated.
Valid driver's license, insurable driving record and complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
Follow directions as given, written and verbal
Comply with ALL SAFETY RULES
Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the service of propane and oil equipment
Prior experience using tools
Basic computer skills
Professional appearance and presentation
High energy and integrity
Punctuality
Possesses both written and verbal English language skills
Demonstrate willingness and commitment to developing customer service skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting 50-75 lbs. with or without assistance.
Climbing up to 8 ft. with ladder.
Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling.
Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions.
Up to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
