Position: HVAC/Hydronic Pipefitter
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled HVAC/Hydronic Pipefitters to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in laying out, assembling, installing, and repairing HVAC and Hydronic systems. These systems encompass a variety of components such as pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment for heating, cooling, gas, steam, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Layout, assemble, install, and repair HVAC and Hydronic systems according to specifications.
- Work with various piping systems, fittings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure the quality of workmanship during installations and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety gear effectively.
- Perform manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods, including lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC/Hydronic Pipefitter or similar role.
- Working knowledge of piping systems and related equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and blueprints accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks in varying conditions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications or licenses.
- Additional training or coursework in HVAC or pipefitting.
- Experience working in commercial or industrial settings.
