We are looking for an Electrical Designer to join our diverse and talented team of professionals at our Las Vegas office location.
The Electrical Designer performs general electrical engineering work, carrying out design calculations, developing technical details, conducting site observation visits, and preparing designs documents and engineering reports on a broad range of projects.
The successful individual should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted drafting (CAD/REVIT) equipment and associated software.
- Performs calculations as well as operate various software related to the design, as directed by the Project Manager.
- Ability to coordinate drawings and specifications with consultants and other design team members.
- Reviews regulations and standards necessary to carry out project design and permitting work.
- Assists design team in preparation of reports, plans, and other submittals.
- Obtain project information from other disciplines and incorporate it into projects.
- Prepare studies and reports as requested.
- Conduct site visits and investigations, analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,500.00 - $74,500.00 per year
