Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a contract to hire position on 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm. Rate of pay $21.00 to $23. 00 hr. Must have previous experience in the automotive industry.
This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various systems while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
- Responsibilities include all aspects related to mechanical operations. Support prompt repair, preventative maintenance schedules, repair of industrial equipment and organizational standards..
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages, and test equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
- Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
- Support operations in OEE and continuous improvement activities.s.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Maintain and repair of building, grounds, and equipment • Ensure that all required preventative maintenance activity is completed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff , demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
Requirement
- 4 years of experience with industrial maintenance
- Proficient mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
- Ability to fabricate components as required for repairs or installations.
- Strong understanding of residential painting techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address various maintenance challenges.
