Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Lead to oversee and participate in project work - including structured cabling, rack and stacks, data center builds, ect. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading crews for the installation and termination of Cat wire, Fiber, coax, ability to set and build out racks and cabinets, install AP's and Cameras (Access Control helpful). This role requires hands-on experience with various technologies, including network installation and maintenance, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and manage site personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide technical support for computer hardware, LAN, and VoIP systems.
- Conduct network installations and troubleshoot issues related to data center equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and ohmmeters for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to facilitate installation and troubleshooting processes.
- Foster a positive customer service environment by addressing client needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with NEC standards during all installations and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, equipment status, and personnel performance.
Experience
- Proven experience as a lead for project work.
- Familiarity with hand tools, computer hardware, LAN configurations, VoIP systems, and network installation processes.
- Strong understanding of schematics and the ability to apply knowledge of NEC regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience using an ohmmeter for testing electrical components is highly desirable.
- Able to run cross connects in a frame environment.
- Cat wire, Coax, and fiber terminations.
- Experience with EMT conduit and associated parts.
- Posses or can aquire industry related Certs (OSHA 10, Lift, BICSI ect.)
