We are seeking dedicated Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of apartment communities in the Portland Metro area. $22-25+/hr

Apartment Maintenance Technician Duties/Responsibilities:

Repair and maintain units, buildings, common areas, and grounds and any other tasks related to preparing apartment homes for occupancy or preventative maintenance.
Answer emergency calls after hours, when requested, provide assistance to tenants and staff as needed. Ensure that all assigned maintenance requests are handled.
Building/grounds maintenance including but not limited to; painting curbs, changing common area lights, litter pick up, light yard maintenance, common area cleaning, etc.
Complete unit turnovers to ensure they a rent ready within ten (10) business days.
Complete incident reports for any observed issues or emergent situations that arise.
Perform preventative maintenance for the property and specific equipment guidelines.
Emergency service such as water and gas shut offs and sewer clean outs for property.

Position Requirements:

Resume with verifiable experience and references.
Speak, read and write in English and perform basic math.
Competently operate computer and/or tablet with Microsoft based software
Understanding of landlord-tenant law and fair housing is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and operational vehicle.
Maintain basic set of personal tools required to perform job duties.
At least 1 year of previous property maintenance, construction, HVAC, or other repair technician experience required.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Able to operate a vehicle, power tools, telephone, and camera.
Able to climb stairs.
Able to bend, stoop, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
