Position Overview:
The Battery Assembler is responsible for building the battery using diagrams and build sheets, which must be maintained by working collaboratively with the Document Control Department. Must follow instructions, set forth by department leads, to track battery build process from start to finish to ensure quality standards are met. Will work under supervision of department leads to ensure procedures are being followed.
Soldering experience with electronics is a huge plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble Battery: Perform manual assembly of battery cells and custom-designed configurations.
- Quality Control: Implement and enhance quality control procedures for improved efficiency.
- Troubleshoot Battery: Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues related to battery assembly.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Testing Machien Operation: Operate testing equipment for battery systems.
- Tool Maintenance: Assist in equipment maintenance, including cleaning and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Soft Skill:
- Willingness to learn

- Lithium Battery knowledge is a HUGE PLUS
Hard Skill:
- Experience with tools, especially for welding and soldering tools
- Basic computer skills
- Able to handle workshop machine
- Blueprint Reading
Physical requirements
- Vision ability able to see small parts and detail of the assembly parts
- Medium weight lifting is expected, exerting up to 50 lbs
- Good manual dexterity for the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, copiers, and machines.
- Ability to communicate with team
- Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Education:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- 8 am - 5 pm
- Monday to Friday
Compensation:
- Hourly $18 - $20 (Depend on experience)
