Job Summary: The Electrical Foreman will oversee and coordinate electrical installation and maintenance activities on various job sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Plan, organize, and delegate tasks to ensure efficient project completion.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project expenses.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship or relevant vocational training preferred.
- years of experience as a journeyman electrician or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
