MADI’s clients are all around the country, accepting a position with us will require you to travel to different areas and get paid to do it!
MADI will pay you the Standard Federal Mileage Rate or Pay for round trip airfare to go where ever the assignments are. MADI also Guarantees you 60 hours per week.
MADI Offers:
- $45.00 Hourly rate
- Guarantee of 60 hours each week
- Time and one half after 40 hrs. worked in a seven-day work period
- Weekly pay
- Federal Standard Mileage Reimbursement or paid round trip airfare.
- Paid lodging at major brand hotels
- $45.00 daily Per Diem
Job Summary
Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of PLC-controlled, robotic, welding and material handling systems.
Essential Job Function:
- Troubleshoot various equipment issues and determine if the problem is mechanical, electrical or from the systems controlling process.
- Follow directions and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Work with hand tools and various instruments (wrenches, multimeters, etc.).
- Use measurement tools to verify that components meet print specifications (calipers, indicators, etc.).
- Create and conduct machine/equipment preventative maintenance activities.
- Work as a member of a production team, cooperates with management in an effective manner to perform work of a high quality with minimal error.
- Work with co-workers, customers and/or vendors in a courteous and tactful manner to resolve issues as they arise.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Requirements:
- Industrial automation knowledge including but not limited to PLC’s, servo drives, VFD’s, sensors, material handling systems, hydraulic and robotics systems.
- Ability to read and update electrical schematics.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with Omron, Allen Bradley, Keyence, or Mitsubishi PLC’s would be a plus.
- Experience with 6-Axis robots Fanuc/Yaskawa (Motoman) would be a plus.
- Complete assignments with minimal direction and/or supervision; able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Maintain a positive attitude under stress.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to understand and follow company standards, procedures, and policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift/carry 45 lbs.
