Temporary Power Services is looking to hire an apprentice electrician to join our growing team. The position will require a full range of duties involving physical labor at various construction sites. You will be responsible for setting and removing temporary power poles, hanging and wiring meter mains, service cans, and pulling wire... The position will require you to assist other team members with installing temporary power pedestals.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Placing and removing temporary power poles
- Assisting with trouble calls
- Hanging and pulling wire
- Being able to read and follow blue stake guidelines
- Properly handling and storing materials and equipment
- Ensuring proper safety guidelines are followed
- Bringing problems to the attention of the supervisor or operations manager
- Other duties and manual labor projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills

- Ability to work independently from a task list responsibly, efficiently and safely
- Previous construction and electrical experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation
Benefits
This position is between 35-40 hours/week. Four - 10 hour days. Wage determined by experience. Medical and Dental benefits available. Hiring is subject upon passing a drug screening. Temporary Power Services is an equal opportunity employer.
