- Division 10 Construction Installer
The Division 10 Construction Installer is responsible for the installation of specialty construction materials such as toilet partitions, lockers, handrails, signage, fire extinguishers, and other Division 10 products. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. The installer works closely with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure timely and quality installations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Install a variety of Division 10 specialty products in commercial and industrial buildings.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine the scope of work.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and clients to address issues and provide updates.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges during the installation process.
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards at all times
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Experience in construction or installation of Division 10 products preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions (heights, confined spaces, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
This position involves working on active construction sites, which may include exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying weather conditions. Installers must adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.83 - $22.06 per hour
