Shift Details: 7:00am to 3:30pm w/ 1 weekend day MANDATORY
Hourly Rate: $22.00
Required Licensure: Valid TX Drivers License w/ cleaning driving record
Required Skillset: General "Handyman" work, Landscaping + Small Engine repair
Preferred Skillset: Painting + Vehicle repair

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manual and/or Mechanical Duties: circulate an assigned work zone on foot and utilize one of several machines to provide a variety of appearance-enhancing services including operating a variety of equipment to vacuum, remove gum, and otherwise clean the sidewalk. Other tasks may include power washing, watering plant life, landscaping activities, fixing equipment, and general handy work tasks.
Observe And Report: while on patrol be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to Safety Ambassadors via two-way radios. Must be able to articulate an accurate description of persons, vehicles, and other similar identifiers.
Hospitality And Customer Service: While on patrol associates will go out of the way to actively acknowledge pedestrians with a friendly greeting or identify visitors to provide directions, information, and city information recommendations.
Reporting: must be able to provide written reports of broken infrastructure or graffiti on private property, and provide a basic daily report of accomplishments and tasks completed.
Professionalism: Must maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and overall Block by Block standards + policies.
Physical Abilities: · Must have the physical capacity to walk continuously during an eight-hour shift, with normal breaks (two fifteen minutes, and one thirty-minute meal break).· Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions with provided inclement weather gear.
Communication: Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports
