Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration systems, particularly ammonia refrigeration, and possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on refrigeration equipment to identify potential issues.
- Perform equipment repairs, including welding and fabrication as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to design and build custom refrigeration solutions for specific applications.
- Provide appliance repair services as required, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for inventory management.
Skills
- Proficiency in ammonia refrigeration systems is essential.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in HVAC systems preferred.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience in equipment repair, including troubleshooting mechanical failures.
- Welding skills are highly desirable for fabrication tasks.
- Knowledge of appliance repair techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
