Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure optimal performance and safety of all machinery and systems within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and scissor lifts to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols, especially when working with high voltage systems.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a focus on electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs independently.
- Experience working with high voltage equipment is highly desirable.
- Previous exposure to customer service environments is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics is essential.
- A background in militarized environments or similar settings may be advantageous.
