Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Solar Installation Technician to join our team. The Solar Installation Technician will be responsible for the professional installation of solar energy systems for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical work, solar panel installation, and system maintenance, with a strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solar System Installation: Install solar panels, inverters, wiring, and other components of solar energy systems according to design specifications and local codes.
- Site Assessments: Conduct site evaluations to determine optimal placement and configuration of solar panels, ensuring maximum energy efficiency.
- Electrical Work: Perform electrical connections, wiring, and installation of inverters and electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve system issues, perform routine maintenance, and provide solutions to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency.
- System Testing: Conduct system testing and verification to ensure proper operation and energy output, documenting all tests and performance data.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to explain system features, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the installation process.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and ensure the safe installation of all solar equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, inventory, and other job-related documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
