POSITION SUMMARY

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential structures, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. They conduct system inspections, provide customer-focused solutions, mentor apprentice plumbers, and offer accurate project estimations. Possessing a valid state Plumber license and extensive experience, the ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in plumbing techniques, uphold safety standards, and showcase effective communication and problem-solving skills.

OBJECTIVES

Installation & Repair: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify and repair potential problems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
Customer Service: Collaborate with clients, interpreting their needs and offering solutions; provide clear communication regarding project status, potential challenges, and expected outcomes.
Leadership: Guide and mentor apprentice plumbers, ensuring best practices and safety standards are upheld.
Estimation: Prepare accurate estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and time required.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring that teams are operating in a safe and effective manner.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest in plumbing techniques, tools, technologies, and materials.

COMPETENCIES

Demonstrable knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Current state Plumber license.
Minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 years at the master level.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Lift 50-75 lbs.
