Comfort Inn is searching for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Tech directs and implements maintenance programs.

Job Responsibilities:
- Creates a safe and attractive environment for guests and associates by ensuring the hotel is maintained in accordance with safety standards
- Completes hotel room and building repairs such as replacing filters, light bulbs, door locks, screen doors, and painting
- Performs repairs on toilets, sinks, laundry facilities, and other hotel fixtures
- Develops plans for completing routine, preventative maintenance, and renovations
- Coordinates work with hotel department managers
- Maintains safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the hotel, pool, pool area, and hot tub
- Ensures hotel adheres to all regulatory and safety standards by meeting with government and insurance inspectors and taking corrective action as needed
- Performs repairs on housekeeping equipment including carts, vacuums, and carpet clean
- Empties outdoor trash receptacles and dog waste receptacles at regular intervals
- Pressure washes balconies and sidewalks as needed
- Adheres to all hotel policies and procedures as outlined by hotel standards and Federal, State, and Local laws, including OSHA regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- Eighteen years of age or older
- Minimum of two years hotel or apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
- Experience with general maintenance tools
- Troubleshooting ability with skills in painting, HVAC, and carpentry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
