The Riviera Club is looking to add to our Maintenance Staff. Scheduling is flexible with part-time and full-time positions available with competitive pay.
Job Summary (Essential Functions)
General maintenance and cleanliness of all club facilities.
Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)
1. General maintenance and the servicing and repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage, plumbing, electrical, painting and related maintenance activities.
2. Maintains the clubhouse ground’s sprinkler system, swimming pool water, lawns, shrubbery and trees.
3. Keeps the work shop areas safe, clean and well-lighted.
4. Ensures that all refuse is properly removed from the clubhouse and its premises.
5. Assists with preparation of special functions, parties, tournaments, etc., by installing decorations and constructing display pieces.
6. Dusts rooms and furniture.
7. Cleans restrooms; restocks restroom supplies.
8. Vacuums carpets and mops floors throughout the club including dining areas.
9. Sweeps patio area and cleans patio furniture.
10. Empties all wastebaskets and trash cans indoors and outdoors.
11. Disinfects fitness equipment.
12. Mops and sweeps floors.
13. Cleans and polishes brass.
14. Washes inside and outside of windows.
15. Vacuums carpets.
16. Repairs/changes any damage, burned-out light bulbs and reports any plumbing problems to the maintenance supervisor.
17. Moves furniture.
18. Cleans locker room areas including showers and bath areas.
19. Cleans walls throughout clubhouse as necessary.
20. Maintains outside of clubhouse building (cleans walkways, patios and entrances).
21. Maintains the pool area including changing rooms and restrooms.
22. Cleans exterior of HVAC vents.
23. Conducts deep-cleaning projects.
24. Cleans all restrooms on Club Grounds and at Food venues.
25. Assists with tables, chairs and other furniture needed for special events.
26. Dusts exercise equipment.
27. Cleans employee restrooms.
28. Vacuums elevators; cleans stairwells and landings; dusts ceiling light fixtures; does spot cleaning as necessary; checks drapes for needed repairs and missing hooks.
29. Transports linen to and from the linen or laundry room.
30. General cleaning of food service areas: Snack Bar, Pool Restaurant, Pool Outside eating areas, painting and relates maintenance activities
31. Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Department Managers of the Club.
