Position: ILC Facilities Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:00PM-10:30PM | 3rd Shift 10:00PM-6:30AM

Pay will be based initially on experience and adjusted per demonstrated skills and performance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Rough and finish carpentry, Plumbing ranging from clogged toilets to 24” underground mains, pipe fitting, structural iron work, welding, mechanical and electrical repairs of overhead doors, dock levelers, dock locks, reading electrical schematics, reading structural and utility prints, maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, working with underground natural gas lines, repairing and maintaining fire systems, diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and starters, refrigeration components, purge units and replace components, troubleshoot and replace electric motors and pumps, diagnose and repair’s on cooling towers, chillers, and weld water skids.

Candidates should have the following skills, knowledge, and traits:

Good mechanical knowledge and abilities, plumbing skills, general building and construction knowledge, ability to weld and fabricate, knowledge and troubleshooting abilities of relay logic controls, be willing to learn and take instruction, have good problem solving abilities, work well with others, have a team mentality, have knowledge of electrical motors and controls, should know how to use a multi meter. We are a highly customer focused organization; as a result, some overtime is required to meet business needs.

Experience in all areas is not required; however, candidates who can demonstrate skills and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, building maintenance, HVAC, centrifugal Chillers, weld water skids, heat exchangers, good problem solving abilities will be given additional consideration.
