As an HVAC Service Manager, you will recruit, train, and motivate a top-tier team of HVAC Technicians. Your leadership will drive the achievement of budgeted gross profit contributions and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring every customer interaction reflects our motto: “We do things the right way, not the easy way.”
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee technician performance on every job, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Lead weekly sales meetings to review repair trends, channel sales, and system performance.
- Assist technicians in creating the most effective system designs for customer needs.
- Communicate marketing campaigns and promotions to the team.
- Track, analyze, and review branch sales KPIs, including gross close rates and average ticket size.
- Present repair and replacement options to customers virtually or by phone.
- Conduct bi-monthly sales reviews and ongoing coaching for technicians.
- Monitor compliance with Goettl standards and ensure accurate job data collection.
- Time manage technician schedules and provide real-time support.
- Participate in technical training sessions to enhance team skills.
Required Skills:

- Outstanding communication and public speaking abilities.
- 5+years in HVAC sales
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- At least two years of sales experience with proven results.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email tools, and related technology.
Preferred Skills:
- Five years of sales experience or experience as a “Sales Technician” in HVAC or Plumbing.
- Two years of leadership, team training, or coaching experience.
- ServiceTitan software experience is a plus.
