Service Technician
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To repair, service, and calibrate instruments in accordance with manufacturer's procedures. Ensuring the highest standards in quality of work are maintained, whilst providing training and support to team members and customers.
ASSOCIATED KPI'S
Maintain 5 day turn around
Work on instruments in authorized way
Contact customers for work authorization
Liaise with customer for work progress
TASKS
Respond to customer contact
Provide RMA
Inspect instrument and provide quote to customer for projected work
Once order received, perform anticipated repairs and calibration
Upon completion of service, complete delivery notes and communicate with team for invoicing
Contact customer of delivery information
Follow up after one week for update
Assist current or potential customers with telephone or email support, liaising with other departments within Ion Science as necessary
Provide training to existing and potential customers both in person and remote
To carry out any other duties as required
RELATIONSHIPS
Directly Responsible to: Technical Service Manager
Directly Supervises: No one
Service/Consultative Relationships with: All departments and staff within Ion Science, Distributors, and Customers
Status: Full-time, Hourly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
