Tractor Technician Position:
Hiring Locations - Joilet, IL Denton, TX Kansas City, KS Springfield, MA East Dubuque, IL & Dover, FL

Duties & Responsibilities:

Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves tractor and occasional trailer related problems
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of necessary company paperwork repair orders, indirect labor forms, etc
Performs preventive maintenance (PM's) on tractor and trailer equipment as assigned.
Properly categorize repairs (i.e. Preventative Maintenance, Component Failure, Abuse, and Accident, according to current company standards)
Accurately record parts and supplies used in performing repairs, which may include scanning bar codes of parts, and recording consumable supplies
Accurately record repair stories in order to properly document complaints, causes and corrections of component failures, and enable the company to recover warrantable expenses
Position includes bending, lifting (up to 100 pounds), climbing, as it relates to maintenance of Class 8 equipment
Assist other mechanics as needed

Trailer Technician Position:
Hiring Locations - East Dubuque, IL Joilet, IL Denton, TX Dover, FL Sapulpa, OK & Monmouth, IL

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on trailer refrigeration units.
Diagnose and repair issues to 2019-2024 Carrier Units & 2024 Thermoking units.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace defective parts, such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, fans, hoses, belts, and electronic controls.
Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer's specifications and company standards.
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation regarding maintenance and repairs.
Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with drivers and fleet managers.
Stay up to date with the latest industry technology and repair techniques through ongoing education and training.
Assist other mechanics as needed.

All Technician Requirements

Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
Work authorization (Preferred)
