Job Description: A Plumbing Technician must have a strong interest in pursuing this trade as a career and is excited to learn skills and gain experience within our plumbing department. As a Plumbing Technician you will be required to perform basic plumbing services such as clearing blockages, clearing drains, and other plumbing tasks. You must be able to follow directions and be willing to help with any aspect of a plumbing project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Locating and identifying leaks.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Cutting, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job.
- Assisting with preparing estimates for customers.
- Making sure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes.
- Cleaning the job site after the work is completed.
- Answering client queries.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Experience and familiarity in the plumbing field.
- Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for installation and maintenance.
- Ability to lift 55 pounds.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Critical thinker with good problem-solving abilities and strong attention to details.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Availability to work after-hours and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
