Job Summary:
This position is responsible for all required maintenance functions within designated site(s). The position provides support, and delivery of all preventive maintenance programs and services and ensures guidelines with state and federal requirements are met for the facility. The position ensures all work orders are completed in a timely manner. This position reports to the Director of Facility Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Performs routine maintenance and repairs on the facility equipment; documents hazardous conditions and equipment
- Follows all established safety policies, procedures, and precautions when performing maintenance service
- Maintains grounds and facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment
- Report all incidents/accidents in writing no matter how minor to your direct supervisor
- Establishes and follows preventative maintenance schedules
- Ensures maintenance shop is clean, organized, and safe; maintains adequate supply stock
- Attends and participates in educational courses, fire/safety classes, and staff meetings, as scheduled
- Utilizes, maintains, and performs work orders within a facility management software.
- With direct supervisor approval, obtains, communicates, and follows through with outside vendors regarding specific projects on an as needed basis. This may include bid procurement.
- May be required to move heavy furniture, boxes, and equipment
- Performs unscheduled maintenance tasks or any additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary or technical training is preferred
- Holds a valid driver’s license.
- Supply basic hand and power tools to perform general job duties
- Basic knowledge on how to use standard hand tools and power tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must maintain confidentiality in and outside of the workplace and protect proprietary information
- Demonstrate professionalism and work cooperatively with colleagues and clients

Abilities:

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
