Product Service Manager - Heavy Equipment Position Overview The Product Service Manager for Heavy Equipment is responsible for overseeing the service operations and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team of service technicians, optimizing service processes, and coordinating with product development to enhance service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of service technicians to ensure efficient service operations
- Develop and implement service strategies to improve customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with sales and product development teams to provide feedback on product performance and service challenges
- Assist in training and development of service staff on heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Monitor service metrics and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement
- Manage service schedules and ensure timely completion of service requests
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment service management
- Technical background as a diesel mechanic or service technician
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Familiarity with service management software and tools
