We are looking for an Electrical Craftsperson to undertake preventative maintenance tasks as well as new installations across the mine sites and facilities.

As an Electrical Craftsperson, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of electrical systems, as well as mechanical integrity of equipment. Perform Installation and maintenance of various size pumps and motors, with other equipment used in the production process.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working in a diverse team, you will be:
- Works independently – diagnose problems and recommend solutions.
- Plan & organize jobs to completion
- Operate discrete operations as part of larger process flow
- Understands authority and accountability
- Maintain team members’ dignity
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors
- Influence others to demonstrate good team membership skills
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- 3-5 experience in the mining, heavy equipment & electrical background
- Candidates must demonstrate a safety conscious approach to work and a proven ability to operate independently and in small multi-discipline teams
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
- Mining industry experience would be an asset
- Electrical Journeyperson Certification is preferred but not required
