We are currently seeking Contact Center Collections Specialists who are looking to move away from the typical call center environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in collections and be capable of taking ownership in effectively resolving customer issues, complaints, and inquiries, all while prioritizing customer satisfaction. As a Collections Specialist in our New Contact Center, you can expect a competitive base pay, benefits, and the potential to earn unlimited bonuses. It's important to note that this position does not involve 3rd party collections.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls using a progressive and preview dialer
- Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
- Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives to pay outstanding balance
- Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by leveraging active listening
- Keep records of all conversations in a comprehensible way in the database
- Meet personal and team monthly collection goals
Skills:
- Previous work experience in collections 1st part or 3rd party
- A commision-based sales background may be considered in place of collections experience
- Track record of achieving collection/sales goals
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
Requirements:
- Understanding of FDCPA
- Must have collections experience
- Availability for an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm
- Experience in Subprime Auto Collections
