Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment and systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained. The Maintenance Technician will work collaboratively with other team members to enhance operational efficiency and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, mechanical systems, and HVAC units.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and mechanical principles.
- Proficient in facilities maintenance practices with a focus on preventive measures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with all stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient tracking of maintenance activities.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
