Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including cabling, surveillance, fire alarm systems, and telecommunications. This role involves working on-site to install, maintain, and troubleshoot various low voltage systems while ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including cabling, surveillance cameras, and speaker system.
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve issues with existing installations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their system design requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on installed systems.
- Detect and troubleshoot system malfunctions efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service.
Requirements
- Certification in low voltage systems or related fields is preferred.
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of cabling standards and installation practices.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and fire alarm technologies.
- Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients for troubleshooting support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- 3 years minimum experience in low voltage/alarm field
- Experienced with IQ3/IQ4 Qolsys and neo alarm systems

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,500.00 per week
