EMC Mechanical Services is searching for a Plumbing Foreman to join our Construction department! The Plumbing Foreman is the direct leader of the Plumbing Mechanics and Helpers on each jobsite. This position is responsible for maintaining a productive work environment. This includes being on site at least 30 minutes prior to start time.

What Youll Do:
- Verify install schedules, as well as daily and weekly schedules for on-site mechanics and helpers.
- Supervise mechanics and helpers, including arrival time on the job, quality of work being completed, and company vehicle condition.
- Order materials based off of specs, submittals, and takeoff to ensure that the materials are on site when needed.
- Responsible for installs per code/spec.
What Youll Bring:
- 5+ years of verifiable experience in a commercial or industrial Plumbing role is required.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Currently owns a personal set of tools required for the trade.
- Journeyman license is required, Masters is preferred.
- Completion of OSHA 30 certification, or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Driving Requirements
- Must have a valid Virginia drivers license.
- Must have positive points on state driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
- Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
- All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and effectively interpret blueprints and other construction materials.
- Ability to make effective decisions and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Must have knowledge of various systems local codes.
- Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
