We are looking for a Plumbing Technician to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. This role focuses on troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in multi-family residential properties.
- Troubleshoot, install and maintain plumbing systems using materials such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX.
- Detect and repair leaks both within buildings and external pipelines.
- Perform drain cleaning and resolve sewage backup issues efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications for plumbing tasks.
- Assess project requirements and identify necessary materials.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of assignments, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Repair, replace, or upgrade plumbing system components as needed.
- Install eco-friendly plumbing solutions, including flow restrictors and tankless water heaters.
- Execute welding for small pipes or specialized piping systems.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.
- Prior experience in multi-family property maintenance or a related field.
- Journeyman or Master plumber certification (preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (not mandatory).
- Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle are required.
- Must use personal vehicles and tools for job-related tasks.
- Willingness to travel for work assignments as needed.
