Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial electrical work and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Conduct tests using ammeters and voltmeters to ensure proper functionality of systems
- Collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards and safety practices
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with frame carpentry is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites
- Valid electrician's license or certification preferred

Pay: $65,057.00 - $80,542.00 per year
