Moment is one of the leading companies in the world specializing in the conversion of classic cars into high-performance electric vehicles. We are on the cutting edge of this very new and exciting industry and we are looking for new members to join our specialized team.
The conversion process is complex and requires you to have the ability to work with, customize, and improve the drivetrain, suspension, and brake systems of different makes and models of classic vehicles. The cutting edge electric drivetrains we install are all managed and controlled by software systems and sensors - all of which need to be installed and tuned. In addition, we often design, machine, and fabricate new parts to adapt our systems to each new vehicle so you will have to work closely with our engineering team to make that happen.
Moment is a cutting-edge automotive technology company, not a repair shop or dealer. Our systems and processes will be new and different and the technology you will be exposed to is very advanced. This is an opportunity to learn and experience something very new and exciting, but it requires flexibility and a very positive attitude.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years experience customizing and upgrading high-performance vehicle drivetrains
- 3-7 years recent/current experience working in an automotive shop team environment
- Experience with and strong understanding of ECU tuning software and CANBus systems
- Experience with and strong understanding of 12V electrical systems
- Experience with and strong understanding of drivetrain components engine/transmission/clutch/differential
- Strong problem solving skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to use and understand software/apps for tracking status and time
- A love and passion for exotic cars
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of CAD applications
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Have the dexterity to use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
Working for Moment:
- Paid for every hour you work - not flag hours

Founded in 2017, Moment has developed a set of motor and battery systems that allow us to adapt electric drivetrains to just about any classic car or truck. The result is a beautiful vintage car with tremendous performance but none of the hassles of maintaining a decades-old internal combustion engine.
