Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting HVAC products to various locations in a timely and efficient manner.
Please read the following "MUST HAVES" before moving on:
- Candidate MUST be able to pass a thorough background check.
- Candidate MUST be able to produce ORIGINAL identification documents (NO COPIES) ex. Driver's License, SSC, Birth Certificate etc.
- Candidate MUST have their own reliable transportation. Borrowing vehicles, Uber, ridesharing, or the need to be dropped off isn't considered reliable transportation.
- Candidate MUST be available Mon-Fri between the hours of 7am - 4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate box trucks or vans
- Load and unload goods and products using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing efficiency
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Skills:
- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license
- Ability to operate box trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other delivery equipment
- Proficient in load/unload procedures for different types of vehicles
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Attention to detail to accurately complete paperwork and documentation
