Job Description:
Finish Line Staffing is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Fire Alarm Journeyman to join our team for an exciting 12-month project. As a journeyman, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage fire alarm systems. This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour work week, and opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage fire alarm systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform regular system inspections and testing to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and standards
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Fire Alarm Journeyman
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, components, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Must speak English
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
