Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrical Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Tech, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform electrical installations according to the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment to complete tasks
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns
-Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure their longevity and efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Commercial Electrical Service Technician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Experience with 277/480v and 120/208v systems
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
-Willing to be on call 5 days per month
-Ability to work independently or as part of a team
